Who I am
I come from an immigrant family. Both my parents came from Bosnia after the conclusion of the Bosnian war in the ‘90s. They instilled a value of hard work, compassion and mental toughness in the face of adversity with me and my brother. Soccer is an avenue to connect with people of various backgrounds, to be accepted and to show my parents how proud I am of what they have accomplished by being the best version of myself.
